# Introduction

A structured assessment captures how a student thinks and works — and StudyHQ
turns it into **ranked, explained recommendations**: the right **stream** for
classes 10 and below, the right **courses and careers** for classes 11–12 —
built on strengths and fit, not just marks.

And with the **Learning Assessment**, schools give grades 7–10 something
more: a clear picture of **how each student learns best** — study skills,
motivation, and learning preferences.

**enrolment**. No code required.

serving external ones — questionnaire, assessment, counselling sessions,
and a **locked career plan** with a roadmap.

Already have a CRM or admissions portal? With a few API calls you can
**generate a student's assessment link**, **fetch their result**, and **push
their enrolment status back** to StudyHQ via webhook — nothing else to build.

## How the assessment works

#### The student takes the assessment

The student opens a secure, time-bound link and completes a career-fit
assessment that evaluates their aptitudes and work style.

#### Results are analysed

On submission, StudyHQ scores the responses and maps them to the best-fit
streams or courses for the student's class.

#### A career report is delivered

The student receives a ranked set of recommendations and the careers each
path can lead to — in Bixa, and (for integrations) via the API.

| **Project**               | A programme inside an organisation — `Assessment Funnel` (admissions / course-fit) or `Career Guidance` (guidance journey).                |
| **Assessment**            | The career-fit test a student completes — stream selection (classes ≤ 10) or course recommendation (classes 11–12).                        |
| **Learning Assessment**   | An additional study-skills battery for grades 7–10 (guidance projects) — how a student learns best.                                        |
| **Career report**         | The ranked recommendations produced from the assessment.                                                                                   |
| **Career plan & roadmap** | In the Agency flow, the direction a counsellor locks with the student — shown as a roadmap in their app.                                   |
