Project settings

Flow type: Institution · Product: StudyHQ Portal (staff)

Project settings are managed by project admins. Set the assessment rules here before you invite students. A single Save commits changes across all the panes below.

Your project’s public identity and how its report is presented.

Upload your logo here — it replaces the generic StudyHQ mark on the student’s assessment screen and report, so the experience feels like your institution’s.

Assessment configuration

The two rules that govern every student’s attempt:

Time limit

Minutes a student gets per attempt. The student sees a countdown and the test auto-submits at zero.

Max attempts per student

How many times a student may take the assessment. Only completed attempts count toward the cap.

You can also set No. of courses to recommend — how many course matches appear on the report (it can’t exceed the number of courses mapped to the project).

These limits are enforced server-side and on the emailed link. If a student hits the attempt cap, a new attempt is blocked with a clear message.

Courses

The list of courses mapped to this project. Course Fit ranks a student’s matches from this set, and it caps how many recommendations the report can show. This view is read-only in project settings.

Access tokens

For integrations, a Course Fit project can issue API access tokens so another system (a CRM or admissions portal) can generate assessment links and read results programmatically.

ActionResult
Create tokenIssues a new token (the secret is shown once — store it safely)
Revoke / activateDisable or re-enable a token
DeleteRemove a token permanently

Tokens are scoped to this project. See the Integration Guide → Partner Workflow for how a partner system uses them.

Deleting a project

A Delete project action is available (with confirmation). Deleting removes the project and its funnel data — use it deliberately.
