This guide documents the B2B Institution flow. It spans two products: the StudyHQ Portal (where staff work) and the Student App (where students take the assessment and view their results).
The Institution flow lets a college or coaching institute run a structured Course Fit funnel: invite students, have them take a career-fit assessment, and convert assessed students into enrolments — with counsellors guiding each student along the way.
The two products
Where institution staff work: set up the funnel project, add students, send assessment links, track the funnel, and manage each student’s case.
Where students take the timed assessment and view their career report — branded with the institution’s own logo.
Key concepts
The institution itself — its Type is Institution.
A funnel run inside the org — its type is Course Fit.
A person added to the project who takes the assessment.
The working record for one student — what counsellors manage.
The timed career-fit test, taken in the Student App.
The result generated once the assessment is complete.

Counsellor
org_admin — sees everything in the organisation. Can create and
manage projects, edit organisation settings, manage the team, and handle
billing. Full access.
Admins and members see project-wide totals; a counsellor sees only the students they added (their own caseload). This applies consistently across dashboards, lists, and the project cards on the organisations page.
The funnel stages
Each student moves through these stages inside a Course Fit project:

End-to-end at a glance
Add a student & send the link
Portal · staff — add the student and turn on Send assessment link to email them a secure, personalised link. Their case opens at Invited.
Student takes the assessment
Student App — the student opens the link and completes the timed assessment. Their stage moves Invited → Assessing.
Career report is generated
Student App — on completion the student receives their career report, and their stage becomes Assessed.
Add students whenever you like — the funnel and the project-card stats update live as each one moves from Invited to Enrolled.
