Project settings
Flow type: Institution · Product: StudyHQ Portal (team)
Where: open your project → sidebar → Project Settings. Managed by project admins — set the assessment rules here before you invite students.
The settings panes
Settings opens with its own small sidebar:
General
Where: Project Settings → General.
Your project’s identity and how the assessment is presented.
Upload your image and icon here — they brand the student’s experience so it feels like your institution’s.
Some organisations have their general settings managed by StudyHQ — a banner says so, and edits are rejected. Contact your StudyHQ manager to change them.
There is no attempt cap in the current assessment flow — the time limit governs each sitting, and answers save as the student goes.
Student form & profile
Where: Project Settings → Intake & Profile.
The same unified grid agency projects use: for each field, tick whether it’s collected when a student is added and whether it’s shown on their profile — and mark fields required. You can add your own custom fields and choose which field acts as the student’s display name.
Fields you mark required are enforced in the add-student form and the import template. The grade list follows your project’s assessment type — Grades 11–12 for course recommendation, Grades 8–10 for stream selection.
Workflow
Where: Project Settings → Workflow.
The workflow pane shows your funnel’s phases — joining, assessment, and enrolment — with the ceiling set by your plan: the enrolment phase is available when your plan grants it, and counselling phases would appear only if a future plan included counselling.
Courses or Streams
Where: Project Settings → Courses (course-recommendation projects) or Streams (stream-selection projects).
What the assessment recommends from — read-only in project settings:
- Course-recommendation projects show the mapped courses. Course fits are ranked from this set, and it caps how many recommendations the report can show.
- Stream-selection projects show the streams the assessment can recommend.
API access
For integrations (a CRM or admissions portal generating assessment links via the API), project access tokens are issued during onboarding by the StudyHQ team — see the Integration Guide → Quick Start. They are not self-served from this page.
